The 10th Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Service[]

The 10th Illinois Infantry was mustered into state service at Dixon, Illinois on April 21, 1861 and mustered into Federal service on May 24, 1861 for a three month enlistment.

The regiment remained in garrison at Cairo, Illinois and was mustered out on July 29, 1861.

The regiment suffered 4 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 4 fatalities.[1]
