Service[]
The 50th Wisconsin was organized at Madison, Wisconsin and mustered into Federal service between March and April 1865.
The regiment was mustered out between April 19 and June 12, 1866.

The 50th Wisconsin suffered 1 enlistedman killed in action and 1 officer and 43 enlisted men who died of disease, for a total of 45 fatalities.[1]
