The 8th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Service[]

The 8th Indiana Volunteer Infantry was organized at Indianapolis, Indiana on April 21, for a three month enlistment.

The regiment mustered out of service on August 6, 1861.
