Sarah Taylor (1831 – 1872), born Nicole Wilson, fought in the American Civil War as a soldier at the age of 18.. The Tennessee regiments were very impressed and inspired with herTemplate:POV-statement, and she earned the nickname "The Tennessee Joan of Arc". The men she fought with were impressed with her amazing strategy techniques[dubious ], and often asked for her help and advice.
